Our projects

Zakłady Automatyki KOMBUD S.A. has completed over 2000 installations, including more than 90 computer systems, traffic protection systems, trackside equipment and power devices. The majority of those projects was carried out on the infrastructure managed by PKP PLK S.A.

Kombud's installations can be found on the Central Railway Line which is the line linking Warsaw to the Tri-City, on Warsaw and Gdansk junction stations.

As part of the works at the Warsaw junction, Kombud modernized the Warszawa Gdańska and Warszawa Główna Towarowa stations as well as the communication route on line no. 8 (Warszawa Zachodnia – Aleje Jerozolimskie - Okęcie – Okęcie Airport), as well as carried out works on the extension and modernization of the Kabaty Metro technical and holding station (STP Kabaty).

The infrastructure being modernized with the participation of Kombud since December 2014 is now used by trains travelling at speeds up to 200 km / h. Other routes, include the connection between Łódź and Warsaw, and the railway line no. 22 connecting Tomaszów Mazowiecki with Radom by modern ESTER system.

Kombud also carried out works on the extension and modernization of railway traffic control devices at the Line no 65 LHS Line (so-called the broad track), the Bogdanka coal mine and the factory siding track of the Kozienice Power Plant. The system implemented by Kombud at the Lubartów Local Control Centre allows remote traffic monitoring on the longest 107 km section of the railway line in Poland.
